Breakfast in Ipoh So quickly the 30 months quarantine period has gone by and we missed going out. Especially to Ipoh. No! Not the Ipoh Food nor the Ipoh biscuit! Simply the feelings that feelings we have not step foot on Ipoh. The opportunity finally came. So dont waste time pondering! Plan carefully where we gonna be what we wanna eat!. The regular haunt Kong Heng don't seem to be in business for quite some time, based on the knowledge that we gathered in the last few trips. So we better skip that part of old town Then, not very and all along the same road but on the south side, another down memory lane experiences, The shop that we used to have breakfast long long time ago when the children were young. Yes! the area around Nam Heong. There, opportunity to reacquaint Nam Heong now that it is another set up. Show my traveling companions what Nan Heong is like. We were all agreeable to the plan and so like clock work the trip went according to plan Wow so nice! Ordered and ete what we wanted. Ha! ha! better said than done - in no time, we had our fill and yet still feeling that it was negligible,we made our way to the biscuit shop. We bought just what we wanted and needed The door gift to my sister's house. Thats all, virtually we did not load ourselves with souvenirs. So nice to realise that sense of contentment. So it was really - some eating and essential purchase and off to Penang we went. 1. Crossing the Kinta River Crossing this bridge would just be another routime. This time I formally included a picture for this page
2. Breakfast Street This used to be Jalan Biji Timah but now changed over to Sultan Yusof. At one time remember was Jalan Biji Timah. The die hard would remember it as British: Belfield Street; Chinese: 微路菲街
3. Junction with Jalan Sultan Yusof I am out of town was very difficult to recognize land marks as they kept changing. Anyway this should be the latest

10. Tong ki They all have their own followings
11. Our destination - Sin Yoon Loong Back to the corner sop that we were so used to once upon a time
12. Next door- another one Sun Yuan Always taken for granted by me, the next door was actually another coffee shop by itself, Foods were brought to both shops without borders, giving the impression that they are the same entity.
13. View Side by Side Here is another view showing the two shops
