Ulu Yam Lama

HOHO ORGANIC FARM & HOMESTAY,

This is a small family farm located in Ulu Yam Lama area with in the Batang Kali district. To reach there fom KL, its only about an hour by car. This cosy pond-side home stay built inside an organic farm, and can comfortably accommodate up to maximum 16 adult guests.

Featured amenities include a cozy living space, and a deck on a pond, a shared open-plan kitchen where guests can cook their own meals. The home provide towels and toiletries (such as body soap/shower gel, shampoo) for guests.
The home equipped with a fully furnished kitchen with cooking facilities – Dining table – Refrigerator – Stove – BBQ Grill
You can purchase any fresh produce during your stay and cook a farm to table dinner in the farm. So after reading about it on hr internet, we have to check out the place.

1. leaving Ulu Yam Lama township

Heading east to Ulu Yam baharu, very close maybe less than one km. This signage "Taman Desa Patin."

Graptophyllum pictum is a native of New Guinea and also a well known garden scrub., This variegated species is known as the "White adulsa"

#10.  Alpinia Purprata

I am having this plant in my garden too. Do you know that this plant is a native to Malaysia???  I didn't know that until now. the red coloured flowers are known as "Jungle King"

This is a shingling climbing plant from the Araceac. It is native to Queensland and New Guinea

The plant is a member of the Mulberry family and its fruit edible. It is native to the Mediterranean and western Asia. It is grown as a fruit tree as well as an ornamental plant

My apologises for taking you through a Botany class. I was overwhelmed to see so many not so common plants. Not that I have not seen them before. Yes I have, but seeing them all together in one location is wonderful.

Another one of our efforts to keep track of the rend that is happening in the Klang valley area. Nope! We are unlikely guest to these form of escapades outing. But the idea is good and exercise affordable.
