Lata Khong Waterfall - Pahang Waterfall re-visited First there is a new word here "Lata". Waterfalls in Malay language is "Air terjun". Lately, most new waterfalls found are named as Lata. Strictly speaking Air Terjun is straightforward Water Falls while Lata is cascade.. Today I released my page on the Chilling Waterfalls. It is interesting but when coming name calling. It is rather taxing to many people as far as Geography is concerned. Yes this Chiling Waterfalls is very near to Kuala Lumpur only 55 km away. So I was a bit reckless in mentioning name as if it is in my backyard. Today I will follow through in answering some other questions. Yes- we were a special breed of Waterfalls Hunters. I started the trend assembled a websites detailing 83 waterfalls in Peninsula Malaysia. The youngster that came following my footsteps outdone me in matter of years after I stopped my pursuit. They reach a number of 124 Waterfalls. Of course many of them in very remote spots and needed long distance trekking. My buddy still run the show on the internet. Just type "Waterfalls of Malaysia". All the info and pictures of the waterfalls meticulously catalogued.Next point - my involvement in Waterfall hunting was so intense that they have picked an unknown waterfall and named it after me.
