"Nibong Tebal" style Lunch in Ayer Itam

The two and half years of lock down and isolation. What was forced upon people, that action  really works on people mind. With partial relaxation, we too had quickly planned for a family get together and good makan. There exit the risk of gathering among crowd and eating in public area. To get over those little hurdles, we would buy the take away rom the shop and have our meal safely in the comfort of our own place at our Air Itam home. Here are the pictures of the family get together how we enjoyed the meal

While the main theme of this visit to Penang was about food and get together lunch, the meaning of the get together went beyond that.  The pictures would showed that we got more than just a simple enjoying the eating session

More a major terminal and starting point for stage busses plying Georgetown area. Foot passenger traffic using the cross channel ferries much reduced. Place looks deserted as well. It is called "Rapid Ferry Pier"

Another Day's Lunch At Home

Though we could freely move around and the Covid restriction removed, we still prefer to buy "take away" and have our meals at home. This day we had Nasi kandra from Line Clear Penang road and ate at home. Here are the pictures

First day - After waiting and craving so long for Nasi Kandar, at the same time, that period it was not comfortable to eat in public and among crowd. So we did a take away and eat confidently at home.  We had our fill of quenching our yearning of Nasi kandar The taste from Line Clear stood up to expectations

Second day- As planned we wanted that lunch with my sister and Brother-in-law. So we shifted the food from Nibong Tebal Back to comforatble home. Good food and no anxiety during the Covid period
