Malaysian Birds

 Grey-chinned Minivet

Yes there are many species of birds that can be encountered in Frasers Hill. The down side, most of them are just tiny little fellows just zipping past you without being noticed
Many of them, as small as 12cms or less. Furthermore more likely they are in in dull drab brown colours.

Super big birds? Only a couple of handful of extra ordinary large birds like Hornbills, Eagles or even one Large-billed Crow. No, don't give up hope. Not that bad lah!

Why is Frasers Hill so famous? Bright spot! There is this most eye catching is a bright red, mid-size bird.  When it is around, no way that a passer would fail seeing it. It is the Minivet.

Have you all wonder there are male and female birds?  Yes, like all living thing, there are male and female birds. Normally, the males are more attractive with better colours while the female birds in drab brown. Of course there are birds where the males and female look identical.

Against the natural rule as I mentioned earlier- for this species of bird, both males and females are equally attractive. Male in bright red and the female in bright yellow. Enjoy!
