Jungle Mynas

What is so special about this Myna? This Jungle Myna from to the slopes of the Himalayas has long made its home in the Malaysian peninsula. It is a common bird here

Then came the Javan Mynas from Rhio, Indonesia sweeping northwards Where ever they went, they interbred with Jungle Myna. In no time, this diversity has driven this Jungle Mynas out of existence in my area.

I travelled north to continue my hunt for this very common bird.. Can't see any up to Bidor area! Suppose still could see pockets of them in Ipoh, I suppose

This year I was waiting for another Myna, the White-vented Myna to appear. Attracted by the not so familiar calls in front of my house, this bird that I was looking for appeared.
