Birds in my garden - Black-naped Oriole

It's a big yellow bird. Most people would have this yellow bird in their garden or been attracted by their loud calls.. It also have an ostentatious calls or series of calls. The name for this bird! Black- naped Oriole.

A very tough urban dwelling bird. Why then, in urban area? This is an aggressive bird, a fruit eater and it's favorite fruit - Papayas. Where else can you find papayas? A popular choice in the urban gardens or if not Papayas Trees can only be found in some far away farms. Besides papayas, the bird would take all types of edible fruit that human takes.

One of the pictures on this page will show that as well. Of course if an opportunity comes along, insect that drops by or unattended as  birds fledglings as side dishes. It is a very beautiful bird

This big yellow bird seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes very sensitive, flew off when approached and then at other times would stay put. Allowed its pictures to be taken. So it is quite street wised and not afraid of humans after having lived together from birth.
