Welcoming the "Tiger" CNY 2022

So fast, it is already February, 2022 and CNY. This year - again like every year we needed a fresh beginning. Appropriate to say "Happy Lunar New Year to all my contacts"

Then some pointers from the internet.

This is the 18th year of a series that falls under the lower “8” cycle of the world. Based on Yi Jing, within the period  the 60 years cycle - i.e between 1984 and 2043. Our era now is classified as the “Fire-Wind cauldron.”  Complicated formula, so needs deep thinking to comprehend this complex formulation.

So, the year 2022- this is “water-fire completion.”
The "Water Tiger" symbol is slotted in for this year. The main concerns for some of us - Beware of volatility in relationships. There could be legal issues at times. But on the plus side - there is a dominant tendency in "Learning" sign. A good year for those involved with education and learning. The "Travel" sign would also favor those who intends to some shifting, travel or job change.

So go into my to day"s story

1, We had hybrid "Get-together" Reunion Dinner - real time and virtual

2, Pearly & Aaron have to double time- ate the 1st re-unon in our house first

3, We had Omelette-Shark Fins

Of course, for environment reasons the Shark fin were imitated by Glass noodles

4, We had Udang Galah Noodle.

Jackie who arranged her dinner with identical dishes cooked in Sydney and eating it together in real time

5, My "girlfriend" first person to wish me in person

6, Our frontage in Wee hours on CNY morning

7, Breakfast

We started the day with breakfast and then the giving of "Ang Pows". Now, ready to drive to the temple

8, Crowd at Temple's Car park

In most of our visits, there would be only one car or max 3 cars parked just beside the temple building

8, Cursory shot at the entrance

Taken out our masks to look better

9, Signing in

Good crowd today, 1st day CNY

10, Next - Signage for KKB Town

There is a long full size sign, made up by alphabets but sadly most letters concealed by hedges

11, This is the Kwan Yin Old temple at the KKB New Village

Name differs slightly from the Kwan Jin Kok Ancient Temple, our regular temple. This one is the second Kwan Yim Temple. Very confusing to outsiders. This one was suposed to replace the original destryed by floods at the change of 1900. Was rebuilt after the last flooding. Ours was revived by Kek Loke Si, the associate in the 1960s.

12, More souvenirs

13, Bird's Eye view of The Selangor Dam

Almost noon time, the haze marred the background, details lost

14, Another shot alone

The Spillway clearer a little bit

16, The tiny Main Road to Frasers Hill and that goes around the Dam

See carefully - Center right

17, I re-discovered the orignal and old Frasers Hill Raod down inside the Valley

Still a favorite picnic spot, with rapid flowing streams but not sharp drop

18, Gate to the base of Dam

19, Style of flow in the river

20, That's the road sign at the Junction

That's for the day's work. Now late afternoon, I could relax and take my rest
