Tong Nga Chang Waterfalls Hunting

"Elephant Task Fall" is 24 km west of Hat Yai via Highway 41, in the Rattaphum district. It is a seven tiers cascade Falls fed by 2  parallel  2 streams. When both dropped down from the slope at one point resembled that of an Elephant task. Ranking among Southern Thailand’s most spectacular waterfalls,

At the lowest first waterfall, the locals lounging in the shade of banyan trees. This spot was accessed easily with an easily walk able path. There was this small beach for the clear, shallow pool where kids could play. Yes there were whitewater bubbling over the rocks but the water is clear and cool, An easy 15-minute walk up the trail to a far more dramatic to Waterfalls No,2.  Reaching this Falls needed registration for in and sign out. Do not need much effort but  much more be slippery.

This Waterfall No.2 had water cascading over a vast rocky slope.

The Waterfall No.3 is a set of small Waterfalls. To reach must climb up a 2 fairly steep rock face. There was no guidance by worn trail, so it is intuition to locate the actual Waterfalls. The terrain then level up and surrounded by jungle was this Waterfalls emptying into a pool.

For the Waterfalls No.4 It is again ascending a narrow trail through dense foliage, and the climb turned out to be less challenging and more sure than that on the rock face.

After much climbing and jumping into pools, I am sure seeing the Waterfall No.5 is onl cursory. Anyway no longer that spectacular too.

Then came the faint trails and some confidence needed. Not very far, no sight of river or waterfall but guided very much by the loudness of the Waterfall to locate and emerge from the bushes. Found it, it was small Waterfall No.6 with a small pool.

At last, having experienced all the difficulties, I must say, the 7th Waterfall was not that hard to find. A wide sheet of whitewater spanned another broad cliff at the seventh and final tier.

The places was good! But for the foreigner ticket obviously quiet expensive for the entrance fee. Which 200b for 1 persons. For me its enough if max is 150b. Please take note. This is nature's, people came for enjoying nature. Not to doubt the ticket prices.
