Around Trang Province

Most of Thailand's provinces are rather rural with out tiny hamlets or town ship. The scenes of the country sides were rather monotonous. Very unlikely to pick up any strange or unusual sights.

Huai Yot

The looks of the present approach to the village of Huai Yot

The village hasn't changed much other than the inclusion of the 711 shops. This was a must stop point for my trip. The main road running across town paased by a sundry shop. I would be picking up 2-kilograms of Thai black Glutinous rice. the legal amount permitted tax free at the Malaysian Custom point.

Also here my passenger stopped the car to pick up a kite for souvenir.

Nuea Klong

Believe me! This is an un-named junction just before the Krabi Airport. Then why pick this spot of all the places. My friend was so keen to reaching Ko Lanta, swear that this Laem Kruat pier was a major departure terminal. Turned out not true. The major ferry crossing was another village named Ban Hua Hin. Further north!

Today's scene at the same junction

Sorry these are the only two scenes picked up in our travel to Trang
