39 km from Trang is the Sikao  district There are many long sandy beaches. Yong Ling, one of them is at Ban Pak Meng is Yong Ling. The water are usually shallow and calm, even in raining season. A couple of hundred meter off shore are several limestone rock formation including one very large one with caves. Several vendors and a couple restaurant offer fresh seafood. They are the newest brick bungalows.  Around the beginning of November, locals flock to have to collect hawy taphao, ar delicious type of clams. We had to be in Pak Meng for our boat ride the islands

Right from the first glance upon arrival, the place looked flat and bare. Yes, very important gate way to adventure in the Andaman Seas! In the end, there would be something nice. If you search hard enough. The setting sun bringing in the best sight.

Business must have picked up. Glad that we made the trip years ago not having to rub shoulders with crowd, particularly in swimming through the  cave and making pictures at the Emerald Lagoon

Trang has a good  stretch of Andaman Coastline, meaning a good destination to catch good sunset scenes and Pak Beng Pier with its esplanade is one of the ideal spots.
