Birds in my garden - Common Tailorbird Tailorbird is a member of the Acrocephalinae family and in this group are the Teslas and Warblers. All the small birds and common Tailorbird is only 12 cm long. This bird is a common resident from the Indian Sub-continent and all the way down South-east Asia. A very known bird for sewing its nest. The edges of selected leaf would be sewn together using plants fiber or spider silk. The final shape of the nest would look something like a cradle.
