Birds visiting my Garden

Years ago, there used to quite a fair number of different species of birds visiting my garden. Though I still able to see  these birds in other parts of the community housing area sometimes, but not in my stretch of the street. Just imagine way back in 1978, when I first moved in to this "Greenfield" area, I saw birds like Fiery Minivet, a forest bird. Situation cannot stagnate and remain the same. Overall, taking stock, I could see the changes. For example, as I am writing now,  I could hear the calls of Bee eaters. Announcing their presence for this season.  Long ago they used to perch on the TV aerials of houses, mine and the neighboring houses.

What I miss most were the continuous presence of Orioles, Pink necked Green Pigeons and White-throated Kingfisher. They don't mooch around my place anymore? Also less seen nearby my area as well. Only the birds themselves know best, the reason why for the less frequent sightings. I can only speculate that the wooded areas near to my housing estate were drifting further away. Also true, that the Intensity of traffic around my area had shot up many folds. Food sources, not only considering what my garden can provide, but overall the area collectively could provide had varied. In this rapid changing world situation, new scenarios are inevitable.

So if I need to say something about birds visiting me in my house, I would make good with what ever photos I have collected so far. It was a situation where I ran all over the country looking for the not-so-common birds.

For a change, there are other "Birds" who came visiting me. Why don't I appreciate that fact and talk about these birds. Glad that now I have a topic and it is to make a record of the birds that had once patronized my garden and lived with us.
